I have a charred oak barrel that I stored it in. It works pretty well. It’s just expensive. The other way to do it is to buy a package of medium Toasted French oak chips. For 2 gallons of alcohol I normally put in about a quarter cup of chips and leave it out in the sun in one of those big glass containers. It brews up just like tea. It’s cheaper faster and just as good
