Ed Mashburn

Ed Mashburn was born 53 years ago in northern California where his parents had located for World War II.  He was moved back to Little Rock, Arkansas were he spent his childhood years.  After graduation from college he and his wife moved to the Ozark mountains in northern Arkansas where they settled on a small farm.  After fifteen years there, they moved to south central Missouri for twelve years.  At present, they live 30 miles from the Gulf of Mexico in southern Alabama where they are trying to learn to speak "Southernese" again.
Ed Mashburn has been a teacher for 30 years, and has taught every grade from kindergarten to college. He and his wife have three fine children.  He raises gardens, fruit trees, blueberries, and poultry.  When not gardening, he can usually be found fishing, kayaking, or sailing.
